Obama….Who Will He Choose???

So it looks like Obama will be the democratic nominee for president. I kinda figured that all along and now it comes down to who he will choose as a running mate. If he is smart he will choose Hillary since I really believe that is the only candidate that can help him beat the Republicans. The problem is…it seems that many of his supporters are against that idea. I find that to be very interesting. I would think that the people who are the democratic leaders would really be pushing for that ticket. Could their hatred of Clinton be that great that they would be willing to lose the election to a very weak Republican candidate???? I mean he has to know how poor he did in so many of those big, traditional democratic states that they need to secure the presidency. He got killed in many of those states. I just do not see how he can win without Hillary.

Back From Camp

Well…I got back form camp last night and it it good to be home. I wasn’t sure when we would get home because about half way the bus blew a tire so we had to limp from exit to exit looking for a place that could fix the tire. The trip ended up taking about two hours longer than it should have but we finally made it. Then when we got back all of the coach’s cars had been vandalized. The windows were smashed in and huge dents were all over their cars. The only car that was not touched was mine. Isn’t that crazy. I couldn’t believe it.

I cannot believe that I will be starting school here in two days. I am so not ready for it. I don’t even feel like I had a summer break yet with all the school and football I had to do. Not really sure that I am mentally prepared to get back. At least the kids do not come form another two weeks. It will be good to be getting paychecks again as well and I look forward to that.
